Message from President Karen Hix – When community-minded and service-oriented individuals unite to benefit our community and make dreams come true for others, Rotary International comes full circle. Together, through Rotary’s vision, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change—across the globe, in our communities, and ourselves. Together, through Rotary’s mission, we serve others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders. We are community builders, people of action, problem solvers, and opportunity creators. We collaborate with community leaders, connect passionate people with diverse perspectives to exchange ideas, forge lifelong friendships, and, above all, take action to change the world. Together, we apply our professional experience and personal commitment to tackle our communities’ most persistent problems, finding new, effective ways to enhance health, stability, and prosperity across the globe. And you, our Macon North Rotary members, are the forward-thinking individuals who help fuel these strategic initiatives. It is my hope that during this term as your President, each of you finds your time here gratifying and fulfilling. |

The Story of Rotary
Starting with the first club meeting in 1905, our founding years focus on building an organization that encourages community connections based on friendship and service.

The Four-Way Test
In 1932, Rotarian Herbert J. Taylor created The Four-Way Test. The Four-Way Test is a nonpartisan and nonsectarian ethical guide for Rotarians to use for their personal and professional relationships. The test has been translated into more than 100 languages, and Rotarians recite it at club meetings:

Our Causes
Seven Areas of Focus – Rotary is dedicated to causes that build international relationships, improve lives, and create a better world to support our peace efforts and end polio forever.
